At just 14 years old, Tama Shimabukuro is a rising talent from Honolulu, Hawai‘i. He first discovered pickleball in 2023 and has enjoyed the sport ever since. Earlier this year, Shimabukuro won the men’s doubles title at the Honolulu Open. He looks forward to competing in more tournaments around the world and earning spots in more main draws at the pro level.

When he’s not on the court, Tama enjoys skateboarding and surfing!
