Jade Kawamoto, originally from the picturesque terrains of Maui, Hawaii, now calls Camby, Indiana, her home. Transitioning from a prosperous tennis background, Jade showcased her mettle by becoming the 2014 state runner-up in singles tennis. She further honed her skills as a member of the University of Dayton's women's tennis program.
Jade's entry into the world of pickleball in 2019 was nothing short of remarkable. Jade and her twin sister, Jackie, frequently play together on the PPA Tour with numerous podium finishes over the past few years. Their most recent victory came at the 2023 Beer City Open in Grand Rapids, MI, where they took home the gold in women's pro doubles. Jade was also drafted for 2023 Major League Pickleball, and competed alongside Jackie on the D.C. Pickleball Team.
An ardent advocate for pickleball's growth, Jade frequently hosts local tournaments in her community. Her weapon of choice on the court is the Selkirk Vanguard Power Air Invikta paddle.
