Player Bio

Kyle Koszuta, widely recognized as “That Pickleball Guy,” is a professional pickleball player and content creator who has been with Selkirk since 2022. After picking up a paddle for the first time in 2021 in his hometown of Phoenix, Arizona, Koszuta quickly recognized the growing demand for accessible, entertaining pickleball content. As the sport surged in popularity across the country, he created a unique platform to educate and entertain a wide audience — from first-time players to seasoned pros.

Koszuta’s Instagram account, @thatpickleballguy, and his newsletter have become go-to sources for tips, tricks, behind-the-scenes insights, and engaging moments with top players at major events. In 2024, he launched “That Pickleball School,” an online resource for pickleball instruction.

Koszuta has also been documenting his journey to pro and in May 2025, Koszuta won his first-ever pro doubles medal at the APP Cincinnati.
