Maggie Brascia

Maggie is the reason the Brascia sisters are playing pickleball! When the Covid lockdowns  began, Maggie was quick to act and convinced her dad to purchase a pickleball net so the  family could set it up in the street in front of their house and play everyday. As they say, the  rest is history.

Maggie’s strategy for success is to combine sound strategy with a big forehand - and it’s  working so far!

In just the past year, Maggie has medaled at the pro level in singles, doubles and mixed  doubles. She medaled in singles at the APP Los Angeles Open (bronze) , in mixed doubles at  the USA Pickleball Newport Beach Championship (silver), and in women’s doubles at the 2022  USA Pickleball Newport Beach Championship (silver).

She also won three golden tickets in 2021 and looks forward to returning to Indian Wells in 2022.

When she’s not on the pickleball court, Maggie is a full-time student at Concordia University Irvine where she is majoring in Computer Science.
