The best of an S2 and Maxima combined

I have been playing with the AMPED Maxima for the last year, and sometimes with the AMPED S2. The AMPED Invikta lightweight is now my paddle of choice. It give tremendous control, and the extra length plays like the Maxima. The long handle and elongated head makes getting difficult cross court shots much easier. The power and control are amazing! A lot of our top 4.5 and 5.0 players have switched to the AMPED Invikta.

My favorite yet!

These are my 4th and 5th Selkirk paddles. I started with the original Maxima, but it was very poppy and I wasn't accurate enough to hit the sweet spot with the narrow paddle. I then went to an SG1. That was a little too light for me. I finally got the AMPED S2 at 8 oz and loved it. But, when I saw the Invikta, with the extra reach, I had to try it! I got a 7.5 oz lightweight for doubles, and an 8.2 oz middleweight for singles. The lightweight for me plays much better than the SG1. I don't feel like I have to bang the ball as hard to get it to the back of the court. So, my serves are stronger, I get the extra reach which is paying off, and I don't lose a lot of width. I'm even liking the longer handle than the S2, which I thought I'd never say.

THEE best paddle in existence!

I bought a midweight Invikta last winter and fell in love with it. I started to get some wrist and elbow pain so I stopped using it and gave it to a friend. Turned out the pain wasn't from the paddle. I tried many paddles after I gave the Invikta away and none of them were even close to it. I missed it so bad that I bought another one this year, this time the lightweight. I don't think I will ever use anything else ever again, though I am curious about the Vanguard Invikta.

Maybe it IS the baton!

Having played tennis for 50+ years, I've heard "It's the conductor, not the baton" hundreds of times when the subject of racquet selection is discussed by players and pros. I've played with this paddle in several highly competitive round robins and the Amped Invikta is a game changing paddle that might turn that traditional wisdom on its head. This paddle doesn't sacrifice much in width to extend the length and that extra reach has done wonders for my short game. The additional length allows me to get around the side of the ball and achieve sharper angles while maintaining minimum clearance over the net. I hear "nice shot" a lot more with the Amped Invikta in my hand. I'm still the conductor, but this is one great baton.

One of the best paddles I've used so far

The Selkirk AMPED Invikta Lightweight is one of the best paddles in the Selkirk line up. I personally have increased the weight slightly to my preference using the lead tape. The power and the reach is just awesome, and the surface is such that you can generate a lot of spin.

It gives a lot of control and power together. Go for it!!
