s2 player profiles

"I want a paddle with the largest face and a slightly shorter handle"

"I'm a Pickleball Player. Get me the paddle with the most consistency"

The S2 paddle continues the tradition of a standard shape, yet it boasts the largest surface area of all of our paddles. The S2 was the brainchild of US Open Silver Medalist, Tony Tollenaar. With a shorter handle than the Epic, the S2 has a larger surface area on the face of the paddle. In fact, the S2 has the largest sweet spot in the Pickleball industry. The extra large surface area improves the overall power and control of the paddle, giving every shot more consistency.

If you are a hardcore Pickleball player that doesn’t mind a slightly shorter handle, the S2 is your paddle.

Game changer

I just started playing 5 months ago, bought a low cost Franklin paddle. Did ok but the ball seemed a bit dead coming off the paddle, not getting the power, angles, response. I called Selkirk and talked to a rep, she recommended the Amped S2 with the largest sweet spot. Played with it twice and my gme has improved sooooo much! The ball has more zip off the paddle, more shots go over the net, much more responsive feel. Not a pro overnight but having more fun and winning more. Sold on Selkirk, get one, you won't be sorry. I like the midweight, short handle.

This steady performer puts a smile on my face

I've been playing playing with an 8.1 ounce S2 for a few weeks and I'm all smiles. The paddle has multiple personalities and I like them all. The medium weight encourages finesse while maintaining enough power to beat back even the most aggressive opponents. The handle is a bit shorter than I'm used to, but I've found that it forces me into a more compact grip that makes me feel more connected to the hitting surface. The paddle is an able partner from anywhere on the court but really shines on the angled drops from the kitchen line.

Great Control and Touch

I have tried all the Selkirk paddles, and the Lightweight S2 is my first go-to paddle. I love the balance and short handle (I tend to choke up on the handle so it is a perfect length) I play a softer game than most and this helps me with the hard hitters. I am a 4.2 plus player.

Best paddle in the game!

This is the best paddle in the game. The sweet spot is pretty much the whole paddle. It gives you the power and touch you need to compete at a higher level. If you’re thinking about buying it, do it!! Go team Selkirk!
