
Cammy MacGregor
TeamSelkirk Advisory Staff Member, Cammy MacGregor, 49, is a former American tennis player who competed professionally from the mid-1980s until 1995. During her career, MacGregor earned the singles rank of 75th in the world on October 13, 1986, and achieved a ranking of 38th in doubles on October 26, 1992. In 1989, she played to the 4th round at the Australian Open (beaten by Zina Garrison), which was her best performance in a single round of a Grand Slam. Throughout her doubles career, MacGregor won 3 titles, including the WTA’s Taipei Women's Championships in 1987, teaming up with her younger sister, Cynthia. MacGregor parlayed her successful tennis career into the sport of Pickleball, and today plays the game professionally while serving as an instructor, teaching out of Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA. As a player, MacGregor has enjoyed strong success on the professional circuit, earning multiple medals in tournaments nationwide.
