Preferred weight setups for the SLK ERA Power

The SLK ERA Power already features internal composite materials that add perimeter weighting, giving it impressive stability right out of the box—meaning less additional weight is needed compared to other paddles.

For the elongated shape, the preferred setup uses about three-quarters of a strip of tungsten tape along each lower side, plus a small amount at the top, boosting stability while preserving the generous sweet spot.

For the widebody shape, the setup shifts to half strips on each top corner and smaller quarter strips at the lower corners, moving the sweet spot slightly upward for better reach and flicking ability.

While weighting is always a matter of personal preference, these configurations enhance the paddle’s natural balance and playability without sacrificing maneuverability.
