The Vanguard Power Air was designed in partnership with top Pickleball Pros including Tyson McGuffin to produce the Power and Spin Paddle the Pickleball community has been asking for. Over 2 years of Research and Development has led to an edgeless paddle unlike any other with new technologies never before seen in any pickleball paddle.

Power and Spin have become increasingly popular and for good reason! The ability to attack your opponents and overpower them with superior spin has proven to be a successful tactic. It was important in designing this paddle to maintain a high level of control as well so the paddle performs at a high level in the “soft game” (dinking, resets, drops, etc).

The Power Air’s first iteration was the 002 paddle. We took customer feedback from our Labs Members to identify where we could improve, then through extensive research and testing, the Power Air was born! The Power Air provides additional control from the SuperCore, enhanced consistency with 360° Proto Molding, and next-level aerodynamics and edge durability with Aero-DuraEdge Edgeless technology.

While edgeless technology has been around for several years, Selkirk is committed to introducing many new performance innovations to edgeless paddles. The Power Air focuses on durability, offers an elevated feel, complete with a polymer honeycomb core, and is the power and spin paddle the Pickleball community has been asking for.
