Growing up, Candace Eichmeier was an avid basketball player. She and her best friend, Tara, both tore their ACLs within a day of each other and waited six months to undergo surgery. During this time, unable to play basketball, they decided to try their hand at pickleball—a decision they consider one of their best. Without their injuries, they might never have discovered pickleball

Candace enjoys playing in tournaments - particularly the competition and just having the opportunity to learn from others.

When she's not playing pickleball, she enjoys basketball, spending time with her husband and four kids, and hanging out with friends.
