Selkirk Sport unveils the OMNI, a new standard for all-court pickleball paddles
June 02, 2026
The paddle introduces a fully adjustable MOI Tuning weight system.
COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho — June 2, 2026 —Selkirk Sport, a leading manufacturer of pickleball equipment, today announced the launch of the Selkirk OMNI, a premium, foam-core paddle engineered for all-court performance.
Priced at $300, the OMNI introduces a dual-ring core design and an adjustable weighting system built to help players navigate the faster pace of the modern game.
While recent market trends have heavily favored maximum-power paddles, the OMNI marks a departure from the status quo. It targets strategic competitors who require a paddle that transitions seamlessly between aggressive attacks and defensive resets without sacrificing consistency.
“By definition, OMNI means 'of all things,' and that is exactly what this paddle represents on the court,” said Rob Barnes, co-founder and co-CEO of Selkirk Sport. “Too many players feel forced to choose between the blunt force of a power paddle or the power limitations of a traditional control paddle. The OMNI eliminates that compromise by adapting to your swing in real time, giving players the versatility they need to truly dictate a rally.”
Adaptive core technology
To achieve this versatile performance, the OMNI introduces a dynamic, proprietary foam interior called ReactCore. The design features a PureFoam floating center surrounded by two concentric rings: an inner PureFoam Ring for a cushioned feel on defensive resets, and an outer EVA Power Ring that provides energy return on aggressive drives and overheads.
Unlike traditional, rigid paddle cores, the ReactCore changes its response based on how hard a player swings. On dinks and resets, the paddle offers a plush, cushioned feel. On drives and overheads, the core delivers ample power.
Fully adjustable weighting system
The paddle also features the next generation of Selkirk's Moment of Inertia (MOI) Tuning System. Originally introduced on the Project Boomstik, the weights are designed to optimize mass distribution, creating more stability and forgiveness.
The original system utilized semi-permanent weights that could be removed, but not reapplied. On the OMNI, the MOI system is fully adjustable.
Out of the box, the paddle features pre-installed perimeter weights positioned to maximize the sweet spot and stabilize balance. However, players can now manually remove and rearrange these weights to customize the paddle’s swing weight and balance to favor power or control based on their personal preference.
"When we first introduced the MOI system on Project Boomstik, players loved the added stability, but we knew we could take the concept further," Barnes said. "By making the system fully adjustable on the OMNI, we are empowering players to fine-tune the paddle to fit their exact playstyle. This hands-on customization is vital for all-court players because the paddle adapts to you, rather than forcing you into a rigid style of play.”
The Selkirk OMNI is USA Pickleball certified and is fully approved for tournament play. It is available for purchase through authorized retailers and online.
