July 16, 2024
The collaboration will provide players exclusive access to private courts listed on Swimply and premium equipment discounts for hosts.
COEUR D’ALENE, IDAHO (July 16, 2024) Selkirk Sport, the leading manufacturer of pickleball paddles and equipment, has announced a strategic partnership with Swimply, the premier marketplace for renting private recreational spaces, including pickleball courts, by the hour.
Swimply pickleball hosts will receive discounts on Selkirk pickleball nets and balls, while players who book their courts through Swimply will enjoy special deals on Selkirk balls and apparel.
Pickle is the fastest-growing sport in America for the past three years. This growth has made it increasingly difficult for players to secure public court time. Selkirk’s partnership with Swimply will connect players with private courts nationwide, enhancing the pickleball experience by providing guaranteed places to play and exclusive benefits for Swimply hosts and guests.
“We are excited to partner with Swimply to bring more opportunities for people to enjoy pickleball,” said Rob Barnes, co-Founder and co-CEO of Selkirk Sport. “One of our missions at Selkirk is to grow the game, and this partnership allows us to reach new players by providing access to private courts and top-quality equipment.”
Swimply’s platform allows players to reserve private courts by the hour, ensuring a more personalized and convenient playing experience. By partnering with Selkirk, Swimply aims to offer an enhanced experience for both hosts and guests.
“Partnering with Selkirk Sport is a natural and exciting step for us,” said Derek Callow, CEO of Swimply. “Their dedication to advancing the sport of pickleball aligns perfectly with our mission to provide players with access to the best private courts. Together, we can drive the growth of pickleball by making it more accessible and enjoyable for everyone.”
Swimply hosts will receive emails with discount codes to participate in the program. Swimply guests will receive a special discount code to use on Selkirk.com after booking a court through the app.
