Player Bio

I was born and raised in Maribor, Slovenia, where I started playing tennis at the age of six and quickly developed dreams of pursuing the sport professionally. As a junior, I won multiple Slovenian national championships in singles and doubles and represented the Slovenian National Team throughout the junior age divisions. Injuries shifted the course of my tennis career in my late teens and I moved to the United States at 19 to pursue collegiate tennis at Georgia State University. During my four years with the Panthers, I had my biggest success in doubles and reached a career-high ITA national ranking of No. 11. Following college, I shifted my focus toward my education and professional career. I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and eventually became a manager of Behavioral Health Crisis Services at Emory Healthcare. During that time, my competitive athletic career took a back seat until I discovered pickleball.

I picked up a pickleball paddle for the first time in the summer of 2025 and quickly fell in love with both the game and the community surrounding it. Since then, I have primarily competed on the PPA Challenger Tour, where I earned a singles medal and climbed into the Top 10 of the PPA Challenger singles rankings.

After building a professional career away from the court, I now have the opportunity to pursue high-level competition again, which is something I wasn't sure I would ever experience after leaving collegiate tennis. My goal is to continue establishing myself at the professional level and ultimately make pickleball my full-time career. I'm incredibly excited to see how far I can take my game.
