Description: the 300a is an aluminum core, graphite face paddle designed for control. It retailed for $100 and was available in two weight versions, 300A (lightweight, 7.2-7.7oz) and 300A+ (midweight, 7.7-8.2oz). It was excellent for players who wanted a control paddle for indoor use. All graphite Selkirk paddles and aluminum Selkirk paddles were discontinued because the AMPED technology made graphite & aluminum obsolete.
Comparable Current Model: 2020 AMPED Epic
The 2020 AMPED Epic uses the same shape as the 300A, but with the latest 2020 AMPED technology that gives you more power and control. It is also available in a lightweight version and and a midweight version. A more affordable option to the 2020 AMPED Epic ($150) is the PRIME Epic ($80) which uses the same shape as the 300A, but with our X4 core and Fiberflex face which gives it more power but less control compared to the 300A.
