Parenteau reaches second singles semifinals of 2025

Catherine Parenteau once again kicked off the day’s play with a matchup against Kaitlyn Christian on Grandstand Court. This marked the pair’s fifth meeting, the most recent being at the Masters in January, where Christian came out on top.

Trailing 3–6 in game one, Parenteau chipped away point by point to even the score and ultimately secured an 11–6 win. She got off to a more dominant start in game two, leading 8–2 before sealing the victory at 11–7.

Parenteau’s next test will be against the No. 2 seed, Kate Fahey. Although both are regulars in the singles draw, this will be their first meeting.

Growing synergy helps Parenteau and Rohrabacher in match three

Rachel Rohrabacher and Catherine Parenteau recorded a big win over the No. 6 seeds, Lacy Schneeman and Jessie Irvine. The victory was a testament to Rohrabacher and Parenteau’s growing partnership—especially considering that Schneeman and Irvine are MLP teammates with more reps together.

Rohrabacher and Parenteau took the first game with ease but were challenged in the second, as Schneeman and Irvine began finding their rhythm and hitting their shots. Rohrabacher and Parenteau responded in the third, jumping out to an 8–0 lead. The key difference in the match appeared to be Rohrabacher and Parenteau’s ability to consistently set each other up for the next shot. Their synergy and communication were evident, making them strong contenders to reach the final.

The duo will need to get past Kate Fahey and Tina Pisnik to advance to Championship Sunday.
