On January 12, pickleball took over the Charlotte Motor Speedway during the inaugural Pit Road Pickleball Tournament.
Throughout the tournament, NASCAR drivers were joined by professional pickleball players to raise money for the Speedway Children’s Charities.
After a round-robin style tournament with 32 teams, NASCAR driver Austin Dillon and Sarah Yates-Parker took home gold.
The winners enjoyed a whimsical prize pack featuring everything from jars of pickles to a golden pickle trophy. Of course, the winners also couldn’t go home without high-quality pickleball gear, including a Luxx Control Air and Pro S1 pickleballs.
