What is the difference between Kevlar and Carbon Fiber pickleball paddles?
Carbon Fiber pickleball paddles are made entirely of carbon fiber, providing power, stiffness, and a solid feel on impact. The core material also influences these characteristics. Kevlar paddles, on the other hand, are made from Kevlar fibers, known for their durability and impact resistance. Kevlar offers a softer, more flexible, and forgiving feel compared to carbon fiber, providing stability, durability, and a balanced blend of power and control.
What is the Carbon Fiber Kevlar LinkWeave, and how does it affect play?
The patent-pending Carbon Fiber Kevlar LinkWeave, used on the SLK HALO Pro pickleball paddle, is a unique blend of Kevlar and Carbon Fiber. This weave delivers a balance of strength, durability, control, and power. The Kevlar enhances flexibility and forgiveness, while the raw carbon fiber adds strength and rigidity. This face material also dampens vibrations, improving control and reducing strain on your hand and arm during play.
