New release streamlines the SLK paddle collection to simplify player progression
COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho – Feb. 17, 2026 — Selkirk today announced a comprehensive reset of its SLK by Selkirk lineup, introducing three new paddles — the Valkyrie, Geo and Dauntless — to sit alongside the existing ERA Power.
The new collection replaces more than six legacy models to create a clear four-paddle progression for players as their skills evolve.
The strategy follows a 2025 initiative to retire older SKUs, including the SLK Halo, EVO and Atlas series. The 2026 lineup is designed to eliminate product overlap and provide players and retail partners with a focused assortment at distinct price tiers.
"Players and retailers have expressed that the sheer number of paddle options in the market has become overwhelming," said Mike Barnes, co-founder and co-CEO of Selkirk Sport. "By narrowing our SLK line to four distinct models, we are making the path from a first-time player to a competitive athlete more intuitive, backed by quality equipment."
The 2026 SLK lineup includes:
- SLK Valkyrie: A widebody, entry-level paddle designed for control and ease of use. It replaces the SLK Atlas and Latitude models and sells for $80.
- SLK Geo: A $100, all-around paddle featuring a raw carbon face and a large sweet spot. It replaces the SLK EVO Power and Control.
- SLK Dauntless: A performance-tier, control-leaning paddle for intermediate players. Featuring the MOI tuning system and a one-piece PureFoam core, the Dauntless replaces the SLK Halo, Amped Control and Vanguard Control series. It retails for $180.
- SLK ERA Power: The existing flagship model costs $200 and is focused on high-velocity performance for aggressive players.
The new structure reflects a streamlined series, with options for players no matter where they are in their journey. The series is available now at major sporting goods retailers and online.
