Luca Mack was fairly unknown heading into the Lakeland PPA tournament. He has been dominant in PPA Challengers, earning a gold in his first singles event and gold in singles and men’s doubles with Selkirk’s Anouar Braham in the Orlando PPA Challenger.
This week, No. 41 Mack has taken down some of the top singles talents on the PPA Tour on the way to his first semifinals Saturday appearance.

“It means a lot. I’m a bit limited in the number of tournaments I can play because of my graduate assistant position, so I can’t compete as often as I’d like,” Mack said. “But that just makes me even more motivated when I can play, and I try to make the most of every opportunity.”
Mack will face off against World No. 2 singles player, Hunter Johnson, for a spot in the final. Tune in on Pickleball TV to see who will make it to Championship Sunday!
