Las Vegas, NV December 16th, 2022 – Selkirk continues its support for the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) Tour becoming the official paddle sponsor at perhaps the most important pickleball event of the year. The bubly Team Championships presented by MGM Rewards will take place at the famed Las Vegas Strip at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino from December 16-18th and will bring a new audience and celebratory atmosphere to America’s fastest growing sport. The unique team-based format and national live broadcast exposure make this a landmark event for pickleball. Like many who visit Las Vegas, Selkirk couldn’t wait to get in on the action.

Additionally, viewers can keep an eye out for Selkirk features in the Tennis Channel’s coverage of the semifinals on Saturday, December 17th, as well as ABC’s coverage of the championship Sunday on December 18th at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT. The official paddle brand of the event can also be seen in action in the hands of the electric Selkirk pro Tyson McGuffin, who will be competing with the Vanguard Power Air Invikta paddle for a slice of the $125,000 prize pool.
The PPA Tour landing in Las Vegas, a globally recognized crossroads of sport and entertainment, is a testament to pickleball’s flourish and its passionate community of players. Over 1,000 amateur players will make their way to the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino to compete in the tournament and take in the action from the world's top players.
