History of the Selkirk VANGUARD series of paddles
The VANGUARD series started with the original pickleball paddle: the VANGUARD in 2021, which was followed by the VANGUARD 2.0 in 2022. In early 2024, Selkirk released the new VANGUARD Control, the latest evolution in the sport of pickleball to meet players where they're at.
The Selkirk VANGUARD Pro is not an update, but an all-court extension of the VANGUARD series.
About the VANGUARD PRO pickleball paddle
The VANGUARD Pro is an elite carbon all-court pickleball paddle with precision spin, thermoformed construction, and an extra boost of power to elevate your game. This paddle is the hybrid model within the VANGUARD series, and features four layers of 12K raw carbon fiber, a thermoformed foam edge, and an X5+ 16mm polypropylene honeycomb core. VANGUARD Pro paddle warranty
Selkirk Sport offers a limited lifetime warranty against workmanship and manufacturer defects for the lifetime of the paddle (with activation of warranty through the registering of the paddle with Selkirk Sport). The warranty is not transferable after registration and only applies to the original owner.
Normal wear and tear, damage caused by abuse, negligence/user modification, chips to the top or sides of edgeless paddles, and the natural breakdown or fading of graphics or textures over extended use are not covered.
