Player Bio

Originally from Greensboro, North Carolina, Collin Shick is fresh off a successful five-year collegiate tennis career at North Carolina State University. Now, Shick is pursuing a promising professional pickleball career as well as a medical degree from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. 


Shick first tested his hand at pickleball in 2021 when his brother introduced him to the sport. In the midst of his tennis career, Shick did not pick up the sport again until he finished his graduate program.

2023 marked a significant year for Shick’s prospects in the sport. In his first-ever pro tournament, the PPA Florida Open, he reached the finals as a qualifier. Just a few months later, he won the 2023 DUPR Collegiate Invitational. Shick was also drafted for the 2023 Major League Pickleball season and competed for the Florida Smash.
