Player Bio

In 2019, Pablo Tellez discovered his passion for pickleball in an unconventional way when he entered a pro pickleball tournament without any experience. After suffering an early defeat, Tellez became determined to master the game and rise to the top.


Pablo grew up playing tennis in his home country of Colombia and went on to have a successful collegiate tennis career at the University of West Florida. With his lefty spin and aggressive playstyle transitioning from his tennis game, Pablo quickly learned the nuances of pickleball and turned pro in 2022. His paddle of choice is the Selkirk Labs Project 002, which he earned two silver and three bronze finishes with in 2023.
