Hailing from Lahaina, Hawaii, Jackie Kawamoto has carved a niche for herself in the competitive realm of sports. Residing in Indiana, she has an impressive legacy in tennis, having clinched the state singles championship in 2013. Jackie further showcased her talent as part of the University of Dayton's women's tennis program.
Her introduction to pickleball in 2019 sprung her rapid ascendancy in the professional pickleball world and serves as a testament to her skill and determination. Jackie often competes alongside her twin sister, Jade, on the PPA Tour and their biggest success of the 2023 season came at the Beer City Open in Grand Rapids, MI, where they took home the gold in women’s pro doubles. The Kawamoto twins were both drafted for Major League Pickleball and represented the D.C. Pickleball Team in 2023.
Off the court, Jackie is a passionate promoter of pickleball, frequently organizing local tournaments. The SLK Halo is her preferred paddle, complementing her aggressive play style.
