Judit Castillo's rise in pickleball has been nothing short of swift and successful! Growing up in Teruel, Spain, Judit played tennis at a high level, landing her a scholarship to Northwestern State University of Louisiana. Upon graduating, she worked as the Director of Fitness & Racket Sports at a local country club.
Although Judit had heard about pickleball while teaching at the club, she did not consider taking it up until late 2022. By early 2023, Judit had transitioned to playing pickleball full-time, with a rigorous schedule of training six days a week.
Judit competes on both the APP and PPA Tours and was drafted to the St. Louis Shock Major League Pickleball team in 2023. With the Vanguard Power Air Invikta paddle in hand, Judit has had numerous podium finishes and won her inaugural gold in women’s pro singles at the 2023 Sunmed Sacramento Open.
