Pro S1 Story
Meet the Pro S1 Series of paddles, the bigger, badder brothers of the very popular Epic series. The Pro S1 series is the culmination of everything we have been working on for the past 3 years. The initial idea for the Pro S1 came in collaboration with Tony Tollenaar, a top SelkirkPro player. Tony suggested that we improve the Epic by shortening the handle and increasing the surface area of the paddle face. This seemingly small change, combined with a redesigned surface, produced a dramatic increase in performance and control. We launched the Pro S1 series at the 2016 National’s with huge success and a large adoption by Pro players and recreational players alike.

Pro S1G+ Player
The Pro S1G is for the control player who does not want to sacrifice power. What defines professional pickleball play is consistency and a range of ability. A pro pickleball player rarely makes unforced errors and wins with consistency, control, and power. We designed the Pro Series paddles for this level of Pro play. However, these elements are exactly what every recreational player needs in a performance paddle as well. If you are a Pro player or want to improve your game to become one, the Pro S1 series of paddles is for you.
Pro S1G+ Technology
The Pro S1G Graphite shares the same larger paddle area of the Pro S1C+ Composite giving it one of the largest sweet spots in the industry. For the S1G+ we utilized our proprietary EdgeSentryTM Plus edge guard to produce a balanced paddle with a little extra weight. With our Polymer PowerCoreTM Technology at its heart combined with the feel of our CarbonFlexTM Graphite face, this paddle will give you the touch necessary to out smart and out maneuver your opponents.

Excellent Control and Power
I went with the Selkirk Pro S1G+ and could not be happier. I was coming over from a power paddle but realized I did not have a lot of touch in the dink game. This paddle took my dinking game to the next level. I typically prefer slighty less paddle face and a bigger grip, but I got used to the shape quickly and took advantage of the larger sweet spot.
Instantly fell in love with this paddle after one game. This paddle has a feel like no other paddle! It responds both to the soft and hard parts of the game.
Pro Sig Plus
I own a 300 XL and love it but, just got a Pro Sig Plus. Thought the shorter handle would be the deal killer but I like the trade off for a slightly larger sweet spot. I have big hands so don't let the shorter handle scare you off. I thought my 300 launched the ball but this paddle is hotter. Overall better touch and power....I love the Pro Sig Plus!
Winning Performance Control and Power Paddle
The Selkirk Pro S1G+ Plus Polymer Graphite Paddle is an outstanding new premium performance pickleball paddle. I found the polymer core dampening action supplies sure control and I could follow with confident solid power with placement and spin. A winning combination. The handle length is shorter than my 300 AXL+ paddle, but the Pro S1G+ paddle surface is longer with more surface area, and I get great action throughout. In my first play I did well against bangers, spinners, and lobbers. Incredible performance, superior fit and finish, and beautiful graphics results in another exceptional paddle by Selkirk Sports.
Great ball feel, I am doing things with this paddle that up to now would not work with other paddles.
If you buy a paddle without trying this one you might be sorry. I get so much more ball control. I tried this paddle for one game and was hooked. I ended up buying the + because I like the extra weight when playing outside.
