Specs:
My husband John and I had a chance to demo a few of these in the winter of 2021 and we still have them. None of them went out of round, broke or even splintered at the holes. These ARE a game changer with cost and efficiency. I do find that they skid alot on the bounce when a lot of spin is added. Thanks Selkirk for a GREAT competitive ball.

This ball feels very similar to Dura. It is actually harder but a little lighter hence it feels faster.
Durability-wise, so far we played 3 times with it (about 2.5 hours each) and so far it has maintained its shape and pressure.
What I am curious about is when winter comes with the colder temperature. Generally in the summer we don't have any problems with balls but during the winter - even in North Carolina, Dura can only last about 2-3 games, Core can last about 8-10 games. Excited to see how SLK Competition ball will last in the winter!

First off great looking ball, great visibility, easy and consistent with all spins. No surprises here, Selkirk as always on the cutting edge!

Great price no compromise vs Competitors
I recently purchased a 6 pack these balls to try out for our weekly games to try out against the Franklin X balls that we normally us. we noticed that the ball tended to become elongated when hit at a high rate of speed - mostly during serves and returns. Initially I though that it was just me, but other players mentioned similar issues.
I had high expectations as Selkirk makes such great paddles.
