I began my pickleball adventure in 2017. I had played tennis with my dad since I was eight and went on to play college tennis at Vassar. I became a USPTA certified tennis instructor and a high school coach. When I was introduced to pickleball, I realized I was ready for a new sport. Pickleball was intriguing because it was a new challenge and a new way to be competitive, especially as a senior player. By far, my favorite part of pickleball is the people that I have met. I’m now a USA pickleball ambassador and a PPR certified pickleball instructor. If I’m not at a tournament, I’m on the court teaching or playing the game I love.
