Mary Brascia

Mary discovered pickleball at the beginning of the Covid lockdowns when her sister, Maggie,  suggested they purchase a net and build a makeshift court on the street in front of their house.  After a few times playing, she was hooked. Mary played part time until June of 2022, as she  was a two time All Conference tennis player, Academic All American and team captain at Biola  University in California. Mary graduated Magna Cum Laude in May of 2022 with a degree in  Cinema and Media Arts.

Upon graduation Mary dedicated herself full-time to playing professional pickleball - and it has  paid off. Mary took home professional singles titles in the APP SoCal Classic and the APP Los  Angeles Open in her first month as a pro. She added a silver medal finish with sister - and  regular partner - Maggie in the USA Pickleball Newport Beach Championship in early July.

Mary is excited to be a part of Team Selkirk. She loves the innovation coming from Selkirk  LABS and she’s excited for the many new offerings to be released in the future.

She looks forward to playing pickleball full time on the APP and PPA Tours, and she is excited  to see how far she can go in the years ahead!
