Well, it's been a little over a week since the close of the First Annual Pacific Northwest Pickleball Classic Tournament in Centralia, WA, and we wanted to just follow up with a hearty Shout-Out and Thank You to Ken and Miok Lee and all of their helpful helpers that put on the largest indoor tournament (237 players!) in the Northwest and possibly the whole country (which we think that automatically qualifies for the whole world too)! Outstanding job and we look forward to an even bigger event next year!

For this tournament, our very own Barnes Bros. (Rob and Mike) entered and walked away with a Gold in Men's Doubles 4.0 and are finally on their way to official USAPA ranking. Next stop; 4.5! And as always, we have our future PB Champ, Riley Barnes, warming up in the bullpen.

We are looking forward to several more tournaments this year but one that will be especially near and dear to our hearts is the 1st Annual Coeur d'Alene Summer Pickleball Classic, the weekend of August 28-30, in our very own hometown! If you've never been to CDA—or, if you own a summer home here—or, specially if you live in the Inland Northwest year-round, you should make it a point to sign-up before June 1st in order to take advantage of the $35 Early Bird entry fee. Beginning June 1st it goes up to $45! So hurry and save!

This is shaping up to be a nice-sized tournament for our first year—we already have around 60 people registered and are looking for it to end up in the 150 range. We hope to see you in Beautiful CDA in August!
